Manouche Urbain is a Boston based acoustic jazz band influenced by the music of hot club jazz manouche legends, Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli. This "hot" quartet is composed of two guitars, a violin and an upright bass with timely vocals. They perform throughout New England and give every special event the ambiance of a romantic Parisian café or a swinging speakeasy.
From spicy renditions of beloved jazz standards, to jazz manouche hits, to Django originals, Manouche Urbain's music transports the listener to a smoky hot club in the 1930s. Our house mix is blended with a few choice Latin jazz classics - and served up with a fun and swinging vibe!
